Seems positive for a new release, just hope it’s earlier in 2019 rather than towards the end of the year! 🤘

Different times. Different band.

Obviously all sounding positive....but the fact we've been here before, with very similar comments, means a degree of scepticism is going to be involved. Sadly, I'm probably in that camp until I see or hear something a little more concrete.

Exactly. This last tour put them at the #2 earning tours...of all time. You don’t think the industry is going to keep that going? Everything we’ve heard from those involved is that the next tour will be contingent on the release of new music. Having industry support to do so makes all the difference, something that was not necessarily the case from 2010-2014.

This new album will have more expectations than Chinese Democracy. Or not?

Personally I'm not taking anything for granted unless it comes from Axl. Last thing we have from Axl was "Never say never" or something along these lines in that interview back in July, nothing concrete. Realistically I can't see Guns releasing a new album in 2019 since Slash is touring extensively until July. Maybe they could release a single and do some gigs in the States in the fall. I would be pretty happy with this scenario to be honest. Smiley

It's nice to know we are all, band and fans, heading down the road in the same direction.  Stay together, nobody go roaming off.

He also said "Not in this lifetime..." we all know how that panned out don't we. So  if it arrives great, but don't stop your life waiting...

It all sounds very promising, I think this is the best the band has ever been from a musical/performance standpoint, def my favorite line up, I'd love to hear something new from them for sure.

I could see a 2019 release... more than likely Axl has shown Slash & Duff some material ( CDII).  Re-record some parts, maybe write a couple new songs.   Tour in 2020 isn't that unrealistic.

The sad fact is that this means nothing. Now we wait.
