Here Today...

hi...i bought CD today and put it in my computer....i want to put the tracks from the cd onto my computer..windows media player is the only software i know on how to do that..however windows media player does not reconise CD for some reason..so i have changed all the names of the tracks...but i DONT KNOW how to name the artist....i renamed TRACK 1...to Chinese Democracy...but the artist is unknown....PLEASE SOMEONE HELP THIS THICK SHIT.....

i ripped mine with nero 8 on vista and had no problems..........i think you could turn autorun off and it should work fine

I used Windows Media Player, too.  If I understand correctly, you have ripped the cd and named the first track?

Well, I had to manually enter all the tracks, name of disc, artist, everything.   All it showed when I first tried was the pic of C.D....no track listing.  Until just now, that is!  hehehehe  It is showing the album info when you use "find album info" now. 

Try again, it should work now.  It brought up the track list today...but it still didn't automatically post the album pic.  Oh well...
