I have a very white collar job.  I wear a suit and tie every day to work.  My wife says I should keep the dress clothes on to combat the stereotypical image that "rock fans" have.

I was going to wear a GNR t shirt and jeans and a baseball cap.

What do you guys think?Huh

FYI - they are running the story later this week or possibly even in the Sunday Globe.

On a related note, they are sending a photographer to my office tomorrow, so I guess my responses are going to be part of the story!

Everyone has their 15 minutes... confused

Sweet!  I was thinking about fibbing and saying I was from the Boston area to better my chances of getting inked.  But then I figured they may want to actually talk to the person, then I'd be busted.  Let us know when its out!

So when is this getting published?

Later this week or the Sunday edition

Keep the nice clothes on.
I was starting to lean towards that to show that GNR fans are more sophisticated.  LOL

Keep the nice clothes on... but have a GN'R shirt underneath... so for your pic you can unbutton your dress shirt and show the GN'R shirt. Kind of like Superman would do...

Yeah man, smart dress all the way.

It would look god-awful when they turn up to a place full of office workers asking for the guns n roses fan:

"Oh wait, never mind. We see him over there, that guy by the window with his feet on the desk, wearing the ripped denims and the faded UYI world tour T-shirt, thats him right?"

Thanks for the suggestions!  I will definitely keep at least the collared shirt on; might lose the tie though...

Photographer just came.  Pretty cool guy, and took some "grand" shots with background, sky, trees, etc (probably about 35-40 total to get just one "perfect shot.").  Kind of a lot for an article on GNR fans waiting 15 years for new record, but if this gets into the Sunday edition of the Boston Globe it will be HUGE publicity for the new album.

For those who care, I kept the shirt & tie on.   Grin

Having me in the business attire will look good, as the previous gentleman he took shots of was a guy with Guns tattoos, lots of memorabilia, a drum kit, etc.  The dichotomy will be great!

Awesome, great publicity for the greatest band in the world.

Smart move keeping the shirt and tie look going!

Excellent work my friend Grin

It all seems a bit surreal and yet you are taking it all in your stride, well done.

Make sure to scan it so we can all see.
