Aye, you're probably right... Though in all honesty I can't remember if there was anything during the break when I saw him... 70 000 (well, it was actually 20 000 when I saw him...) or not, I was making sure that I was at the front of that bar queue!
Though anything would have done. The video and music that was played before the first half was great! I assume that you got the same thing, with the radio, and the smoke, and the tuning and the what not.

Also, I should probably say that I wouldn't advocate a break at a Guns N' Roses concert... I was just trying to give Adz an example of when there is a point... And there can be!

But I'm with you on filling it with something. It doesn't have to a complete break from everything.

I was just guessing to be honest, I just don't see the point.

Waters did it on his last tour, and it worked great!

One half a best of, the other Dark Side of the Moon... What more could you want !! It worked great.

But a 15 minute brak with nothing?.. I didn't think it worked very well...

It worked well because Dark Side of the Moon is a thing of itself... It needs to be appreciated with its own beginning and end, it can't just be slotted in after Sheep!, that's insane. It is its own Animal...............

But, there is a but.

When i saw that show at Roskilde festival it didn't really work for me. A break could work, but i think there should have been something going on in that break, just something that kind of prevents the crowd from falling asleep. 15 minutes is way too long imo, i think maybe waters even took a longer break like 20 minutes or something...

And to the bar you say? Imagine 70 000 people going to the bare in that break...  

Yeah but you could just have some female dancers, and not that many would go to the bar, most people don't wanna move for fear of losing their spot...

....but I see your point, if you can't get a drink, don't smoke, you are kind of limited, still always chance for a bit of banter with some random Gunner next to you!

Yeah, and thats why i never mind when Axl is off stage for a while. There's always something else going on that is really cool amd interesting .

In the waters break there were nothing, the stage was completely dark. That was a great gig over all, but like i said, i ended up sitting there without drinks and we didn't move because we had great spots. Luckily there was a fat one taking the round so the second half was awesome when it finally started.
