A diverse group of international entertainers, including former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash, veteran disco diva Donna Summer, Argentine singer Mercedes Sosa and celebrated tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform in a gala concert titled "Believe: Celebrating a Decade of Peacebuilding Activities" at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center on October 27 in honor of the Peres Center for Peace's 10th anniversary.

The show is part of a three-day conference (the 26th-28th) marking the anniversary, which is expected to be attended by 300 world leaders, diplomats, businesspeople, journalists, sports figures and film stars.

Joining Slash (born Saul Hudson), currently with Velvet Revolver, at the invitation-only show will be local talents including Ahinoam Nini, Ran Danker and Liel Kolet.

American actress Kathleen Turner and French actress Anouk Aim?e will contribute to a panel at the conference on "The use of culture in humanizing 'the other.'

There is a rumor going around that SLASH is going to Israel to perform in a concert in honor of the Peres Center for Peace's 10th anniversary on October 27. SLASH says that is not true; he is definitely not going. The rumor may have started because Liel Kolet will be there. She is a native Israeli, and a wonderful singer. SLASH played acoustic guitar on the song "For the Love of God" on her forthcoming (November) album Save Yourself.
