this does feel good I must say...as an avid fan(some would say obsessed) over the past 17 years, it does feel good because I have heard a lot of shit talked about Axl over the years...and it always pissed me off.  For every author of a Nirvana book who said that Kurt made Axl irrelevant they can all go fuck themselves right now...and I don't mean to harp on the Nirvana thing, but it pisses me off..They would make this accusations that Nirvana ended GNR's career blah blah blah....but GNR never put an album out after Nevermind(TSI doesnt count)...so those claims were always founded on NOTHING!! This record proves that it was always bullshit...GNR's career was never ended...the first GNR record post-Nirvana is poised to be a smash hit, and it feels great!  Congrats Axl!!! peace

Well put Shadows. It would've been justified if there was even one album of new GNR material that tanked... but there wasn't.

We're a long way from the last laugh yet. The critics are still having a hearty chuckle and will continue to do so until CD passes 5m sales and GNR sell out headline tours based on material from the album rather than AFD.

i dont think it will be changed forever.

I dont think id want every rock band to have such a over produced mixed sound.

It works for this album because Axls put time into it, and his voice fucking rules.

I doubt say, Nickelback, or Bon Jovi would be good at this type of thing!!!
