NO GOOD TV Unveils World Premiere of Uncensored Music Video at ngtv.com

KOCH Records recording artist Circus Diablo partner with internet phenomenon NO GOOD TV to create exclusive uncensored music video for 'Loaded'.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Sept. 12 - PRNewswire - NO GOOD TV continues its commitment to offer a global platform for original, uncensored entertainment with the debut today of an exclusive cut of the music video for Loaded, the first single from KOCH Records recording artist Circus Diablo. Debuting on the DMV channel at http://www.ngtv.com, the uncensored version of this music video was created specifically for NO GOOD TV. The edit includes content that would not be allowed to air on conventional music video networks.

Circus Diablo includes lead vocalist Billy Morrison (Camp Freddy, The Cult), guitarists Billy Duffy (The Cult) and Ricky Warwick (The Almighty, New Model Army), bassist Brett Scallions (Fuel, Riders on the Storm) and drummer Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver), who appears courtesy of the RCA Music Group. Their critically acclaimed, self-titled debut album was released on July 3 by KOCH Records after which they spent several weeks on this year's renowned Ozzfest tour. The video features Guitarist Rob Patterson (Korn, Otep) and drummer Charles Ruggiero (Slunt), who also round out the band's touring line-up.

"Music is where NO GOOD TV got its start and we are excited to team up with KOCH Records on this groundbreaking project," said Kourosh Taj, Co-President and Head of Programming for NO GOOD TV. "KOCH Records is the fastest-growing independent record label out there. We couldn't ask for a
better partner."

"KOCH and Circus Diablo feel NO GOOD TV is the only place to premiere an uncensored video for Loaded," said Chuck Oliner, Vice President Radio and Video Promotion for KOCH Records. "This is the kind of music video that rock fans want to see and we love the fact that the existence of NO GOOD TV
means a band like Circus Diablo will have an outlet for their fans to see their new video and not be limited creatively."

CIRCUS DIABLO Schedules Venice Concert - Jan. 6, 2008

CIRCUS DIABLO ? the new project featuring THE CULT guitarist Billy Duffy, THE ALMIGHTY frontman Ricky Warwick (guitar), and ex-THE CULT touring bassist/current CAMP FREDDY guitarist Billy Morrison (vocals) ? will play small show in Venice, California at a club called Venice Rocks on January 30 "to air a couple of new songs, bust out a guitar or two for me, and generally brush the cobwebs off and start the process of being a band again and writing for album number two," according to Morrison. "It'll be fun to play, and it will also show us how V2.0 of the band is going to work in '08. It looks like we can also tell you that we will be performing at this year's Fangoria convention in L.A., but more details on that one will have to wait until we have them. Primary focus is on writing some killer new songs and starting the process of getting in the studio."

CIRCUS DIABLO To Continue As A Four-Piece - Jan. 9, 2008

Los Angeles-based rock act CIRCUS DIABLO will warm up for 2008 with a show in Venice, California on January 30 at club Venice Rocks. According to a posting on the group's MySpace page, "none of the band have the ability to be in two places at once, so due to THE CULT, RIDERS ON THE STORM and THE ALMIGHTY being busy and active, the decision has been made to continue CIRCUS DIABLO as a four-piece." The band's frontman, Billy Morrison, said "We all had a ton of fun writing and making that record, but it has proved impossible to commit to any serious plans with so many members being that busy. So much love and respect to the guys."

CIRCUS DIABLO will write and record a second album during 2008 with the current lineup of Morrison, Charles Ruggiero (drums; SLUNT), Rob Patterson (guitar; KORN, OTEP) and Patrick Cornell.

Courtesy of www.billymorrison.net/weblog:

So the keen eyes among you will have seen the MySpace profile for Circus Diablo has changed and the picture is now of a four piece band!! And I want to say that it has been SO much fun up to now - a huge thank you goes out to Brett, Billy and Ricky. We are all still close friends and its not a drama. Its more a case of realizing that the 'rotating member' thing just wasn't gonna work. And because of everyones schedules, we were unable to tour as much as we would have liked. So the mutual decision has been made - here we go with Circus Diablo V2.0. Myself on lead vocals and rhythm gtr. Rob Patterson on lead gtr. Patrick Cornell on bass and Charles Ruggiero on drums. New songs have been written already, more are being crafted as we speak, and we have been rehearsing as well this week. Its different for me - I now return to the familiar place of having a guitar around my neck!! So check out the band at its first show with the new slim look at Venice Rocks on January 30th. The flyer is below (yes I have ripped another Banksy off - he is the modern day Warhol, and besides....his art makes great flyers!!).

CIRCUS DIABLO To Play Venice Show As Three-Piece - Jan. 28, 2008

Los Angeles-based rock act CIRCUS DIABLO will play as a three-piece on January 30 at Venice Rocks in Venice, California. "As Ricky [Warwick, guitar] is trucking around the UK with THE ALMIGHTY, Rob [Patterson; guitar; KORN, OTEP] jumped back over to KORN [as the band's touring guitarist] and who knows where any of the other guys are right now?!" stated vocalist Billy Morrison. "We have been messing around in a rehearsal room as a three-piece. And we liked what we heard. So that's how this show will be played. A three-piece. Never done it before, but I have to tell ya... it's a lot of fun!!"

CIRCUS DIABLO Frontman To Record Solo Album - Jan. 31, 2008

Los Angeles-based rock act CIRCUS DIABLO played as a three-piece last night (Wednesday, January 30) at Venice Rocks in Venice, California. "It's the first time I ever performed on a stage as part of a three-piece band," stated vocalist Billy Morrison. "That means, in case you are having a hard time with the math... there was a drummer (Mr. Charles Ruggiero), a bass player (Sir Patrick Cornell)... and me. Playing guitar, singing, and filling up as much space, both physically and sonically, as I possibly could. It absolutely means I have to work harder on stage (not a bad thing, really) but I was surprised that it also meant having a ton of fun!

"The three of us rocked through a 45-minute set down at Venice Rocks (great club ? totally pro, and super-nice to all the bands) and I do believe we might do more of the same at some point. We did make the decision that we are going to hunker down and start working on a few tunes for a forthcoming Billy Morrison album. The three of us work really well together, I have a blast performing with Patrick and Charles, and all of us wanna make a record together. So ? that's where my musical focus will fall for the next few months. Let's see what happens and let's see if we can't get that album together."

CIRCUS DIABLO Frontman To Release 'Stimulator' Solo Album - Feb. 11, 2008

CIRCUS DIABLO vocalist/CAMP FREDDY guitarist Billy Morrison has issued the following update:

"Well, I've decided to go all the way. All the tracks that I recorded in 1997 with Terry Warville on rhythm guitar and Jason Bowld on drums will be released on iTunes worldwide on April 7th as a Billy Morrison album appropriately entitled 'Stimulator'. This is not the planned solo album that I am currently writing... that will still (hopefully) be released later in the year.

"This is a way of liberating some fantastic older tracks that were just gathering dust on the shelf and providing some product for me to get my teeth into right now. I am planning on making a video to accompany a song from the album. I figured that it made sense to finally get the songs out properly, and have formed King Mob Music as my own label. And the 'Stimulator' album will be the first release. I am very happy to have finally collected all these songs together and got them out to the world.

"The tracks available right now on the Snocap site are part of the record, but the entire 14-song album will be available on iTunes UK, Europe, Japan and United States."

"Stimulator" track listing:

01. Modern Primitives
02. L.I.V.
03. Red Shift
04. Cold
05. Four More Ways
06. Rush
07. Swandive
08. YouKnowMe
09. Nailed
10. Driving Me Mad
11. Silencer
12. Stories For Boys
13. When I Close My Eyes
14. Hard To Swallow

BILLY MORRISON: More 'Solo' Album Details Revealed - Apr. 10, 2008

Back in 1998, Billy Morrison (THE CULT, CIRCUS DIABLO, CAMP FREDDY) fronted UK rock band STIMULATOR with guitarist Terry Warville and drummer Jason Bowld (PITCHSHIFTER). The band signed a large deal with Geffen Records in the U.S. and recorded their debut album in Los Angeles. Riding high on a wave of great press and even greater expectation, they could not have imagined that Geffen Records would be part of the first big music business merger (with Seagrams), and that their record would never be released.

10 years later, Billy now lives in Los Angeles, has played bass in THE CULT, formed CAMP FREDDY (with Dave Navarro, Donovan Leitch, Chris Chaney and Matt Sorum), CIRCUS DIABLO (with Billy Duffy, Ricky Warwick and Brett Scallions) acts, writes, hosts a radio show?and has finally decided to release those masters as a Billy Morrison solo album.

After releasing the CIRCUS DIABLO album on Koch Records last year, and spending the summer on the Ozzfest, Billy entered 2008 with some thoughts about a solo CD. Currently holed up in a studio in Los Angeles recording brand new material for release later in 2008, he felt that the time was right to resurrect the old STIMULATOR masters and put the album out, as it was recorded ten years ago. Forming his own label, King Mob Music, Billy has not retouched or remixed the STIMULATOR album in any way and is releasing it as a stop gap between the DIABLO album and his forthcoming solo material.

by Staff.

Guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, multi-media artist and Modern Guitars columnist Billy Morrison brings readers up to-date with his latest adventures in his column, Sunset & Vine. A busy man? His group, Circus Diablo, released its self-titled debut album on the Koch Records metal division label (the first single's video was the most-viewed music video on YouTube with over a million hits), and spent the summer performing at Ozzfest; Billy filmed his third movie role (Basement Jack in which he plays the role of a detective); he appeared on panels at the Fangoria Festival in Los Angeles to talk about his movie roles; Camp Freddy gigs with fellow Campers Dave Navarro, Donovan Leitch, Chris Chaney and Matt Sorum; work on a solo recording projects; formed his own record label (King Mob Music); continues to host a regular Saturday night radio show, Camp Freddy Radio, on 103.1 FM in Los Angeles; and recently issued Stimulator, an album originally recorded in 1998.

Billy Morrison Week: Day 5 "Nailed"

04/25/2008
.
(antiMusic) Are you ready to rock? Then rock legend Billy Morrison might just have the album you've been waiting for. Billy really doesn't need an introduction to rock fans, The Cult, Circus Diablo and Camp Freddy are just some of the bands he's been a part of. And then you have Stimulator, a band that Billy formed with Terry Warville and Jason Bowld from Pitchshifter back in 1998. Now a decade later Billy is allowing fans to hear what they've been missing with the release of Stimulator.

When we heard about this album finally being released, we fired off an email to ask Billy to give us the lowdown on some of his favorite tracks. A few hours later he came through in a big way. So here is Billy to discuss his favorite tracks from Stimulator!

NAILED: This is very easy song to explain. I think that everyone can identify with the feeling of having an argument with a loved one or a family member, or even a good friend, and just feeling like no matter what you say, you are being misunderstood. When no-one seems to be listening, when you are screaming at each other in a violent, destructive way and getting absolutely nowhere.....thats what this song is about. I love the way the track's chord structure is really simple, and the samples we used drive the song into a very emotional place. One of my favorites.

The CD is out now digitally on iTunes and limited edition hard copy CD is available exclusively from - www.billymorrison.net
