His passing occurred only a month after he announced his retirement from touring due to his illnesses.
Great White actually played the Ritz in NYC the same day as Guns N’ Roses’ famous MTV Ritz show, on February 2, 1988.
I personally saw Great White live in 2007, and I got to meet Jack Russell afterwards. Such a nice guy and a great voice!
