Yeah just like 2 years ago it was being mixed.
Two years ago it wasn't even done....
They recorded parts for the albums in January....
/jarmo
"Albums." I just love the plural "s" on the end of that. Here's hoping...
It's just logic.
Considering I don't know what songs are actually on Chinese Democracy, I can't say for sure that everything they recorded in January ends up on it.....
/jarmo
so you know what songs were worked on in january then.......
I think you just read way too much into that post.
and i think you read way too much into mine if you thought i was serious.
Or had way too much to drink or maybe not enough yet.

I guess you're so used to everybody else doing the same old routine that when somebody doesn't, it's because they're "crazy".
I see a lot of the same names coming here and making the same fucking "points" time after time. Why don't you go find something else to use all that energy on?
All that negativity can't be good for you.
The rational thinker hasn't got a clue what's going on because he/she doesn't live the life Axl does.
Yeah, well it may seem that way to you, but I'm actually not trying to be negative. I've been coming to your site for quite a few years now. I think Axl is quite fascinating, but I just don't understand why some of his fans tend to look at everything he does with "rose colored glasses". Sorry, but I can accept his faults and he's got a lot of them.
And I don't consider putting out music in a timely manner to be the "same old routine". That's rather ludicrous.
I understand how obviously you are a big fan Jarmo, and you put a lot of work into this site. Also, if Beta and her son have posted here, maybe you have some connection with Axl's "people", whatever. I just don't think you have to agree with or provide a rationale for everything someone does to be a fan of theirs. Sometimes, people, even Axl need to hear the hard truth.

Who hasn't?
We're all just human.
But in case you've gotten this site confused with some other place, we're not about the whining, negativity and all that fucking crap.

I remember the big commotion the fact that Pearl Jam stopped making music videos caused. It was pretty unheard of.
But they felt it was right for them, they didn't give a fuck.
Same thing with GN'R. They do what they want. Always been like that.

The problem with the so called truth is that we don't know the whole story or the background.
As Baz has said, we don't live the life Axl lives. So who are we to point fingers and give him "career suggestions"?
"Axl, release the record!" You don't think he wants to?
"Axl, play in my town!" You think it's only up to him to decide where to play?
"Axl, play this song and not that!" Can't please everyone, there's always people who like that they're playing and just because you don't, doesn't mean you're right.
Etc etc etc.
I wish people would get it into their heads that this band is not about fucking over us fans.
There's a lot of people out there who would love to see Axl and GN'R fail, and often I see people who claim to be fans take their side.
I just can't relate to that at all.
I guess it's more fun to be cheering for the winner all the time......

Let me guess, your the one that's going to give it to him!?!?
Seriously though, you don't think Axl's heard that hundreds of times by now from hundreds of different people?? Even one of his closest friends, Sebastian Bach once asked Axl to release the album already. Do you know what Axl's response was??
He yells out to a room full of people, "Hey everybody, Baz has a great fucking idea! Releae the album!! Thanks Sebastian, what would I do without you!?" and that was the last time Bach mentioned the album release to him.
So by you saying it on a message board he despises (or some of the people here anyway), is going to change all of that. Behold! The Messiah has arriven!!!

No. Besides people on his payroll how many people has he surrounded himself with in the past ten years? He pays the band to shut their mouths. Beta would tell him whatever he wants to hear. Geez, Merck is gone, I wonder why. Sebastian is getting some great exposure from their friendship, but if Axl doesn't deliver, Baz will eventually tire of that too. And frankly, I would rather keep saying that, then repeating lame excuses about how it's perfectly reasonable that he is seemingly unable to put his album out. It's not.

proof? the way i see it they choose to keep their mouths shut cause everything gets taken out of context/over analyzed just look at the way bach is being analyzed so extreme till the way its been said

It's incredible how people don't know nothing at all about respect these days...
The artists give us the most beautiful and powerful songs in the planet, timeless songs, their bands are legends and some people just want them to burn in hell...?How fair is that?

At this point i think it's pretty obvious that Axl isn't going to release anything until every aspect of this thing is perfect and ready to go. I can't imagine all the details of it, but even just from what we've seen, this band that has yet to release an album sure has grown, and with it i'm sure the songs have too. I think that's important to Axl, to not come out there with something that's growing, but with something full grown.
To me it doesn't matter what you think about how he's doing it, because that's how he's doing it anyway.
We have to realize this is the guys life's work. With so much already accomplished, he has no need to rush, and a lot of expectation to live up to. This is a big ambitious project and it is entirely his vision. Then we type on message boards about how he should hurry up, as if he's really pissing on our day. It's not our album, and it's not our art.
No matter how much CD will mean to most of us, the guy it's going to mean the most to, no matter what, more than anyone else in the world, is Axl Rose. We want to hear it, and he has formed his life around it.

I think he said everybody addressing no body. it's basically sarcasm.
sebastan was answering the question if he had ever called axl to ask about the release.
and he didn't say anything that implies they weren't on the phone or they were in a room full of people.

For everybody's info baz will be on XM's Boneyard at 9:00pm tonight for a full hour. If you have DirecTV it's channel 830.
Curious what Axl would say if the question "How many fans have to die waiting for your album?" popped up?. Can you imagine the people who died wishing they could hear the album(s) before they died?.
