Anyone remember Dave Mustaines side project MD.45? There are actually 2 versions out. Lee Ving sings on the original and Dave sings on the re-release. Here's the Axl mention:

"'Voices' was a nightmare I had one day. I dreamt that James Hetfield, Axl Rose and myself all wrote a song together. The nightmare was about the song, not being with James and Axl. I am looking forward to doing something someday with those guys, individually, or collectively." (Mustaine, 1996)

That's a cool find.

But I also remember a concert quote in which he bashed Axl for being fat, have a bad attitude and what not.

I believe that it was said before this occured, so it was probably just something said in the moment of "heat" or so to speak.

And I also have to say that it would be awesome to hear Dave, James and Axl to do something together at some point.

Doubtful. Although it would be awesome Dave hates James who hates Axl.

James who hates Axl.

I believe that it's all in the past.

Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield even went to some shows on the North American leg of the tour in 2006.

As for James and Dave, you're probably right.

I think you're wrong on that. I remember reading Lars went to some of the shows, definately not James. And James had some negative remarks about Axl in some kind of monster if I remember right.

I'm fairly sure that I'm right, there's supposed to pictures from those shows as well.

But I could be wrong... And the only "remark" James makes about Axl is an imitation of the electric chair scene from the "Welcome to the Jungle" video.

Why would it be so hard to believe that they've dropped their battles?

no, not that I can remember. but he did have some negative remarks about Axl on the black album documentary.
Im fairly sure James still can't stand Axl, I remember some recording of Lars praising Axl, with James laughing in the background spitting out some remarks. that was from maybe 4-5 years ago, don't remember exacly.
