I check it out for articles and headlines...but what's the big deal? Why does this guy get so much press?

And does anyone else think he looks like a douche?

Never read the site.

However, I do know that hes a Republican in the Larry Craig, Jim Kolbe, David Drier mold.

It's just as reliable as any other news source.  Drudge is more famous because he broke the Clinton scandal.   He's also alot more reliable than other bloggers because he doesn't post fake stories from disgruntled privates.
