Just heard a bootleg of this show. Axl's voice is terrific, it really became better as the tour went on.

Remind me again, why do I have to explain this to you?
You are like.... who?
Cause last time I checked, it wasn't you spending four and a half hours infront of his computer to update people on this board...
And I didn't expect that posting a couple of jokes, without interrupting the updates that I was posting
6 days ago
, would hurt anyone...
And what's even funnier, is that your first post on this thread, instead of being a "thanks for the updates", is a post on how should we our jobs...

Well, try to stay in your house for 2 weeks and a third one on its way due to a weak ankle and you'll see if you'll be as easy...
Sorry if I misunderstood.

I can relate to that Christos, I have a metal rod holding together my broken femur bone - been like that for 10 years. Be patient, it'll come good.

get well soon, christos.?
here a japanese review.
http://www.barks.jp/news/?id=1000032978
many of old rock writers in japan are crap.? they call themselves critics and yet all they do is to try to look important.? 'I am this close to the musicians you admire! I?m a big shot!'' fuck that! they diss bands that don't do what they want. only to prove themselves deaf and blind.
apparently this writer is not that kind. He saw every show to the end and has been giving a fair review to it. in short he was blown away by the band like everyone that saw them. The whole house was one.
I like writers like him that still can feel music. according to him axl pronounced 'budokan as '武道館' like japanese people would do, (mmm?
)which is rare and to his knowledge?only one other frontman could do that and it was the late Freddie mercury.
To Mr, Masuda, thanks for the confirmation after budokan. You should post here sometimes.

Suntory, funny you should mention that...
That just reminded me of when Axl said "domo arigato - どうも ありがとう" at the first Chiba gig his pronunciation was spot on. Many gaijin (including myself at times) fuck that one up by saying "arigoto" instead of "arigato." That's not a biggie but with some words a simple vowel mistake can get you arrested... I should know, I've made some classic mistakes...
It would be pretty cool, if Axl could speak Japanese.

This is exactly what I wanted to say. (but was too scared to mention.) Thanks. Well said.
I was especially pissed off by Masa Ito because of what he said in his raidio program in March this year. (I still believe that his negative comments on GNR caused poorly sold tickets of the original dates...)
