YEAH! They finally arrived today....

I bought these Italian Promo - The Spaghetti Incident? items about 7 weeks ago and have been waiting and waiting for them to arrive.? Quite fittingly the guy I bought them off lived in Pisa, Italy.

I was starting to shit myself as I thought that Australian Quarrantine might have stopped them on the way in due to them containing food - particularly the spaghetti because of the egg content and risk of bird flu etc etc - don't laugh our Quarrantine here is so damn strict.

I think they're classic plus I had never seen them for sale before.? The only reason I knew they existed was because of Pandora's helpful website.

It's curious because they each have a little Geffen logo on them with a cut around mark and a number value.? So presumably if you collected enough and cut them out and sent them away you could get something?? Anyone have any idea what they might have been giving away at the time?

Anyhow, serious collectors might get a kick out of seeing em, others might think I'm a bit crazy for getting excited over something so trivial - if that's the case I won't let on what I paid for them?

Here is some more comedy I crudely translated the Italian writing on the back of the Spaghetti Box.  It roughly says:

"The Advice of Grandfather Geffen.
The particular technique of drawing to the bronze refers to this product only (whateve the F that means).  To appreciate better the incredible characteristics I advise for the preparation of sauce and seasonings the peeled tomatoes of the same line".
