2007-01-18: Chapter 4
Well, well, that fuckin? ? Bergen, Norway / Stockholm, Sweden? ride is always fun in January, NOT!!!
And it?s the 2:nd time we?re doin it as a last ride to get home to safety after a looooong tour, this time with two professional drivers though.
Poker, porn, Johan?s DVD-marathon?nothing could excite me more than my bunk (and I hate my bunk).
Sounds like I?m happy to be home. I am?but I miss the road?
Really we?ve been out since April 2006 but the last leg was actually from the Autumn 06 to, yeah, Bergen, Norway January 07.
To talk about highlights or as journalists always ask ?Tell me something crazy that happened on the tour? is always really hard. Everyday is crazy and everyday is fucking boring too.
The one thing that I really noticed on this tour was that there were hardly any gigs where the crowd/fans disappointed me. YOU (our fans) were absolutely fantastic this time, well, you always are, but it was beyond normal this time. We have, and always have had, people traveling from gig to gig (You know how you are), through rain and fire just to catch the next gig on the tour, I feel for you and I adore you for doing that. Closest I got to that was when me and Dregen, young and stupid, spent the night in a garage in Stockholm just to be able to see G?n?R 2 days in a row?I fell asleep the second night, ha ha.
Nowadays, my friend Dizzy Reed just asks me, WHY did you do that? I tell him to fuck off, he he.
Playing our hometown N?ssj? was of course special and our old gang had gathered from all around to support us, thank you: Eng, Holm, Fredde, Ingela, Gugge, Camilla, Beglert, Jerker.
And a BIG thanx to N?ssj? Basket and the Predator Andreas Johansson with brother in arms Johan Lindfors.
Next time we?ll be back with bigger amps and bigger lights.
I think Saxon once sad that, and that?s were my bro Pascal Luder is gonna be the next months, in ?wig-land?.
Talking about that, I know that not only us but also our fans love our crew so, THANK YOU.
Pascal, Don, Krille, Anders, Toffsy, Niklas, Roger, Jimbo, Kathrin, Oscar, Marcus, Stabbe, Uffe and all our drivers.
All the support bands also made my day more exciting, especially Supagroup, Neverstore, Towers Of London and The Upstrokes, THANK YOU and ?good luck?, you?ll need it, as Cramps Lux told Dregen.
Luck is good, but hard work is better?let?s work hard this year to prevent evil forces to control our music that we love and care for. May the force be with us, or just fuckin? play.
Till next time?.Yours,
Nicke Borg
