He doesn't have GNR running through his veins... GNR was injected with him and now GNR has BBF running though its veins...

I'm 100% sure that this pic was taken right after his solo!

Just listened to some of the bootleg and realized Ron plays Symphonic Fantasia No.1 Part.1 AKA Godzilla Theme as part of his solo.

Chopin?

No, Stolat you mixed up two diferrent pieces? rofl

Jarmo is talking about:
Symphonic Fantasia No.1 AKA Godzilla Theme
by Akira Ifukube (1914-2006)

Ok, Japenese love Chopin's music but that's not the case? Grin

And you probably thought about Ron's genius version of Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu (1834; Opus posthumous 66) recorded for "Ominous Guitarists From The Unknown"?(1992; Shrapnel Records) ok

BTW that Chopin's composition was also used as Bill Murray's ringtone in the movie Lost in Translation? Grin
Anything in common of your Japan experiences Jarmo? Wink with the movie?

Yes.

When the flight attendants said something in English, it took a minute. When the same was said in Japanese, it took like three minutes.

Just like when he's told to "turn from the right, look into the camera" in the movie.  hihi

I listened to the bootleg and it's funny how it brings back memories of being at Intex and watching the show.

Generally speaking, all the Japanese shows were amazing. Same goes for the fans attending the shows. I don't think I've ever seen that kind of respect and love for the band before.

I'm not saying fans in other countries don't love the band, it just seemed like they showed it in a different way at the shows in Japan.

They were clapping and cheering when the songs ended. But then they were quiet and waiting to hear if somebody said something (I assume). Occasionally you could hear somebody yell AXL! at the back of the venue.

If you listen to Rocket Queen, you get a good example of nice crowd participation in Osaka.

It's kinda funny. I was expecting something completely different crowd wise. What a pleasant experience.

The band was tighter and sounded better than before.

If you didn't like these shows, you have no fucking pulse.

I remember getting chills when they did IRS.  drool

Axl's voice at the last osaka show is at its best, the rasp is there almost all the time. And the way he sang the end of IRS and, specially, the end of Rocket Queen was incredibly emotive.

That Rocket Queen version was just flawless. Axl's voice was exactly like Live Era, but with a tighter instrumental base behind.

i need to see this band god damn it  crying

Irs and my gooseflesh!  drool

It would have shivered your timbers if you?d been there.

@ the people who weren't there, altho of good quality,  the boots are nothing compared to the real live experience.  Besides, where did all the wicked bass beats go?
We were like puppies taken to the first walk after a long time. any reviewer would lose credibility and make an immediate laughingstock of themselves  if they said the band didn't rock the crowd hard or showed little energies.
