I'm thinking they are "guessing" some of the names of the new songs.? I'm sure they haven't heard Prostitutue or Zodiac, if they have I'm sure they will be leaked soon enough.

Zodiac? Do you mean Atlas Shrugged? That was one of the songs the article claimed to have heard...

Just a few pointers:

1. I think everyone on this site is getting pissed off with the lack of "real" info from the official GnR camp and as a result posts have started to get a bit personal - we're all pissed off and we all want to hear the album! You can see it now though - when the release is made, I give it 2 months before we're discussing the next album, when is that coming out, when are the new tracks going to be leaked etc... and the cycle comes full circle?

2. Regarding the Classic Rock article - I have this magazine - (I'm actually in a band and have gigged with one of the bands on the free CD "Sons of Guns" on the front of the magazine) - but anyway - I do think they tend to make things up. Now correct me if I'm wrong (and I don't want people to post me links so don't delete this I'm not trying to post a disallowed thread...) but I can't remember hearing any leaked tracks in 1999? Classic Rock claims to have heard a 1999 studio version of Chinese Democracy, in addition to Prostitute and Atlas Shrugged... as has been mentioned a lot above - is it not entirely plausible that they are making this stuff up to sell magazines? Magazines which, sceptive fans like myself, still go out and buy!

No, because they review Catcher In The Rye seperately in addition to mentioning Atlas Shrugged....

"real" info =

-The band have just completed a successful tour.
-The is much excitement about the new stuff.
-let the guys go back to the studio to reflect on what they just did
-you must support the band 100%
-talking about leaks is pointless
-if you don't show some fucking respect towards the wishes of the band that are really expressed very well, thorughout this website, then the album release will be delayed yet again.
