There's an audio bootleg out there from the 01/01/01 show - the only show before RIR, that is. It's fkn amazing, Brain's drumming is outstanding.

I was at that show..exciting like no other show I've been to..the anticipation and buzz was unparalleled..all due to it being Axl's 1st concert and very few public appearances in nearly 8 years. Also the anticipation of new songs..were they going to be industrial like "omg"' grunge as Zack Wylde reported or more like AFD/UYI GN'R..it was also GN'R's 1st club show since the UYI warmups..

Unfortunately there is no video from the 2001 Vegas show. Of course times were a lot different back then, and not half of the audience in the venue could film in HD like nowadays...

there's some confusion about 2001 Vegas shows... but actually it's quite simple, see http://www.gnrontour.com/setlistalm01.htm for details.

There was (it was supposed to be a Japan-only release), but i never got released. It was produced and all but it was cancelled at the last minute.

I can never quite believe how it came so close to being released, and not one copy got to see the light of day... even unofficially. (if you know what I mean)  hihi  drool
