AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 12 -- During the annual SAE World Congress held in Detroit, Michigan, on April 16 - 19, BorgWarner engineers and program managers will present technical papers on a number of leading-edge technologies including reducing cold start emissions, advances in friction materials, improving air system controls for diesel engines, and optimizing vehicle traction and driving dynamics through NexTrac(TM) and ITM3e(TM), an innovation recognized as a 2007 PACE Award finalist. As a featured panelist at the FEV Powertrain Innovation Forum, William Kelley, Vice President, BorgWarner Drivetrain Research and Technology, will also give insights into how drivetrain technologies can increase fuel economy, improve performance and reduce emissions.
