"Chinese Demcoracy Tour" sounds awesome though.? It worked in 2K2.? It worked better in 2K6.? Bodes well for this tour.

I can't wait until the sixth "Chinese Democracy Tour" myself.? They're going to have AFD down cold by then.

Never mind; found it: http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/CU0704/S00056.htm. Though this wasn't written by the GN'R camp, so maybe it isn't called the "Chinese Democracy Tour" after all.

Because they're really, really, really fucking lame.  Angry

They should give up the name of that album and change it to something else after all this time.  ok

I seriously hope that Axl has something HUGE up his sleeve because it's getting really pathetic.  nervous

We've all waited around for a very long time for this shit and it still seems to be going nowhere.  yes

Slag me all you want to because I don't care if you do.  peace  smoking  beer

They should call the tour Spaghetti Incident Part Two! A few more people might remember that!

Why do you have to have an album to call the tour Chinese Democracy. In theory you can call a tour whatever the hell you want. I'd think this way they are getting some free advertising for the album (if it's ever released).

you dont do it because its deceiving the fans. the way all tours work is that a band puts out their new cd and then tour shortly after its release under the name of the new album. besides people on this forum, if other see "chinese democracy tour" they would assume its out...thats very deceiving for people that dont live on gnr boards....

That's crap. Anyone who is familiar with "Chinese Democracy" isn't going to think that the album is out, or even on its way just because the tour carries the name (which isn't even a certainty in itself). Were there droves of fans running to the record stores in 2002 or 2006 expecting to find the album on the shelves? If GNR advertise the shows as "in support of their new album, Chinese Democracy," when the album isn't near release that would be deception.

By your logic, we should all have been trying to buy a new GNR album called "Get In The Ring Motherfucker" back in 1991. We weren't. Why?

All tours from here on out will be called Chinese Democracy tours.  What did you think?  That Axl lied when he said Chinese Democracy had started?  Dude, once Chinese Democracy starts its not going to end.  This will last for all tours and albums, even after this album is released.
