Life is what happens in-between...

Sad to report that Mark Norton aka Mark St. John, KISS' lead guitarist on Animalize, passed away this morning of a cerebral hemorrhage. Mark was 51 years old.

KISS remembers Mark for his contributions and sends their condolences and deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

That sucks. I remember his hand swelled up and he couldnt do the animalize tour so they brought in Bruce Kulick.

He did some great guitar work on Heaven's on Fire, Under the Gun and Thrills in the Night which are all my favs from that album.

Every KISS album up to Crazy Nights was reissued in '97.

Sad to hear about Mark St. John. Animalize is among their strongest albums from the 1980s, and maybe one of their top ten best albums.

Half the people who played on that album are now dead.? Sad
