This guy's solo work is beautiful. I prefer some of it to the Mac. Check it out!

I havent heard any of his recent material, but that solo album he did in the 80's sucked, the exception being the song "Trouble".

He was great with Fleetwood Mac though. Without him, they would have been nothing.

I'll download a few of his songs.

Any recommendations?

He is an amazing songwriter, guitar player and singer..... I think he and Stevie Nicks made Fleetwood Mac great..... the combination of those two was something special

The number of dates on Lindsey Buckingham's spring jaunt has doubled in the last couple of weeks. The Fleetwood Mac singer/guitarist is now sporting shows from the East Coast to the Midwest from early March to mid-April, with a couple of Canadian dates on the itinerary as well.

Buckingham will kick off the third leg of his North American tour March 7 in Tampa, FL, and wrap things up April 18 in Salt Lake City. Back-to-back gigs are scheduled at venues in Albuquerque, NM, and Boulder, CO. A summer run is already in the works, as well. Confirmed shows are listed below.

The outing is the performer's first solo tour in nearly 14 years and supports his first solo album in just as many years. "Under the Skin" was released in October; songs from the set are streaming at Buckingham's website and MySpace page.

"Under the Skin" follows 1992's "Out of the Cradle." Buckingham said he was inspired to get to work on his latest solo effort after reuniting with Fleetwood Mac for 2003's "Say You Will."

The musician expects to release another solo album at the beginning of 2008, according to a press release. He recently told the Dallas Observer that Fleetwood Mac plans to regroup for a release in 2009.

Buckingham has also been hitting the television circuit, his next appearance set for "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" March 22.

I havent heard much of his solo stuff, other than what I smapled on Itunes, I really think his voice deteriotated recently...but one thing is for sure, he can play the fuck out of the guitar. Never Going Back Again is one of the all time great acoustic guitar pieces you'll hear

Umm, yeah. Right. So I guess the sticker on his new album that says "LEGENDARY FLEETWOOD MAC GUITARIST" was just for the people who visit this forum.

Read any review of his album and it mentions he was the Fleetwood Mac guitarist.

Don't try to be an elitist, it's not very becoming.
