Chinese Democracy VS Libertad

Both are in mixing stages, both mean some form of liberty/freedom, both bands are an evolution of the original GNR. Both bands have proven that they can tour successfully.
I hope they are not released on the same day. Since I am all for the new GNR, no doubt I'll buy that one first. I like VR but if they are released on the same day, I'm putting off getting VR for awhile. What say you?

Well, I'll buy both. I might aswell.
I have a feeling that at least 75% of GNR fans wil buy Libertad. Pretty much 90% of VR fans will buy Chinese Democracy.

I doubt that , VR fans tend to hate axl hahaha honestly. GNR fans a little more nicer towards VR.
But hell if Axl or Slash put effort into any project I'll take a peek into it you know.

I'll certainly get both, and I hope they ARE released on the same day...it would be a great bit of publicity for both!
To those with a greater sense of civility, it's obvious that this isn't a competition between the two albums. Of course, I lack such civility. Based on the leaks of CD I've heard and Contraband, I expect CD to be the stronger of the two.
If they come out on the same day (which they won't
), I'll buy both on the spot.

this is a stupid post as neither albums have been released, and no studio versions of tracks from either album have ended up on the Internet or anywhere else for that matter. this thread should be examined further when both albums have been released

Of course he doesnt have them, but its like an upcoming match between Real Madrid and a serie-b team. You can bet, without chances of losing, which one will win.
And if you consider that just one leaked demo track in 128 kbps like TWAT is better than the whole VR's debut album, you can imagine how things are gonna be.

I know that he doesnt have them, but its all the usual fanboys going 'Oh VR are rubbish, we love Axl rah rah rah'
You havnt heard either of them so your opinion of forthcoming albums is merely specualtion. Sure Contraband wasnt the classic it could have been but its no slouch. If its up against something like the dreadful Better than theres every possibility it will triumph.
You are allowed to like both bands you know, Axl wont tell you off....

I won't be buying Chinese Democracy.... I will be pre-ordering Libertad though.. For the record, I gave up on Axl before there was ever a Velvet Revolver.....
