 Hey,
? The first time I heard this song was by way of my friend Patrick singing it to me over the phone,'cause I was at work and he found it online (years back now) and I was so f'n crazy to hear something (anything!) new from GN'R and he knew this so he obliged.
He was sang the chorus for me "Oh! My salvation! And all my frustration!..." and I was like "Dude,......that sounds? awesome.? Sing it again!"? Pat's an okay singer and it still blew me away.
 
 I think Axl's voice is so full of heartache and passion on this song. It fuckin' hits me man. I think the bridge around the 2 minute mark is killer as well.
 Solo could use a tad bit o' work but,overall I dig it a lot and would very much like to hear it on CD.

Love the intro and solo.  The best version was the 2001 HOB show unfortunately the recording quality wasn't very good.  I'm convinced that the studio version kicks ass

LOL, yeah, I saw threads like this, but I love the track, so I don't mind (in fact, I'll say the same thing I said before )

It's an awesome song - specially the instrumental. The drums and Robin's guitar work are killer, but A LOT of people miss that because of the quality of the recording. In fact, I bet people will change their minds about Rhiad once a good quality version (soundboard/studio) is released.

I wish I could play drums, but I tried to record the guitars just to show how good the riffs are.

Personally I hated it at first. I heard it and thought "What the fuck is this?" but it was stuck in my head. Long story short I love it now. It'd be cool if they played it live but if not no big deal.

Also did they quit playing it half way through during the 2002 tour?
