Hi everyone!
You might have seen this post somewhere before as I'm looking for this since 2002 or even 2001!
I sing in a band and I would love to use a mic stand like Axl's. Now he has got a red one, I think, but I'm talking about the one he used in the 90's, with that particular shape, a steering wheel as the bottom and you can split it in two...
Here's a picture:

I found a company on the web that builds custom mic stands, but they were asking too much money!! I've also been told to try to find someone that can weld and ask him to build it for me, but I don't know anyone. I wouldn't mind to try to do it by myself (I already did!) but I don't have the stuff to weld...

So, if someone has seen a replica or so, please tell me! As I said, I don't have much money, but Xmas is coming... Wink
Thanks a lot!!!

There was a magazine called Musician back in the day that said it was a "Custom Easton Mic Stand" if that helps any.  A tribute band I seen in Sturgis had one. I'll give you their addresses; might be able to give you some contact info.

Should be able to see it when on the left.  I'm in the Aerosmith shirt!!!

I just ordered the steering wheel base from the company you were talking about. I'm hoping it's worth the money!

I'm going to put a regular stand on it for now, but I'm hoping to find something the detaches easily in half down the line to pair it with, that'd be nice.
