We wouldn't be worrying about the other releases on the same day.  Think about it...if they had just announced a release date when they announced the tour, very few labels would have put their holiday releases up against "Chinese Democracy."  But now that they've dropped the ball and almost every release has been announced, they've only created more competition for themselves.  Jesus...how bad will it look if it doesn't come out by December 26th?

Not much worse than it's looked for 15 years.  No one other than hardcore fans are expecting Axl to come through this time either.

Like I keep saying in every thread, it's not coming out. Every year, two or three times a year, someone from GNR says it's coming out next spring/summer/fall/winter. Has it ever?

What makes this time any different?

No other label would care if Chinese Democracy was coming out along side its artist...

That new tracks have leaked, that a successful tour is happening, that Axl and Merk have firmly said this year time after time...not saying that I'm 100% sold, but still, things are looking good...

They'll be fucked if it isn't out by Dec. 26th. People will not play this game again a 3rd-time.

I know I won't be...

This year has been completely different than any other year since Chinese Democracy started!

2002 was different from any year. No album.

We've heard 4 new tracks. In 2002, we heard 5. Axl told Kurt Loder in 1999 the album was coming out "this year." He's telling the truth now? We'll see
