anyone think the reason for the shows at the beginning of the tour being rescheduled till Jan-      they were finishing recording?

We already know that was the reason. It was officially spoken about by Del in an article at the official site that was later pulled down.

We know it was because of recording, but I'm still not too sure about the finishing part. hihi

I'd choose any one of those LA shows.  I'd think something special would happen at one of those shows since they're playing the same arena 3 straight nights.
