i think its just what they are in the mood for that night.......

yeah at least that's what someone said after the RIR gig i think and that it is mostly tommy and axl that decides the songs or something

I thought they have a crapload of songs and as the show goes they play songs that they get the vibe to play..

Seems the case - they have the lose structure that they stick with, and then change it up as they go along. I know I've heard Axl ask the band 'what do you feel like playing?' at shows. I can't remember if that was at the Nijmegen show I attended or something I heard on a bootleg.  hihi

As a sidenote, I bet management shit their pants and reached for the batphone when they saw 'setlist' in this thread title.  Wink

If Vegas holds true, they have a master list of songs that will definitely be apart of their set, and then a secondary list of alternates that may be added or used to replace something else.

Nothing that we haven't seen though. Except I believe Rhiad & The Bedouins is still on the alternate list I believe, even tho it and songs like Oh My God & Silkworms are long gone.
