you had a chance?? what happened, whats the story?

well being a relatively new fan, I would have to say, watching the bootleg from the st louis show.
it's hard to watch your hero in his lowest point.

What actually happened?? I always wondered?

The biggest bummer for me,? a chance to go backstage in 2002 and I blew it.

Yeah! No shit! I wanna hear the story!

I'm curious as well.  How did you "blow it"?

I was at the Detroit, MI USA 2002 show and AXL stopped the show after Patience.  I was really bummed that I didn't get to dance in the confetti shower.  Oh, well everything happes for a reason and 11/25/06 will make up for it for sure.

I would have to say, it was yesterday, when my favorite GNR board started deleting everyones post so we have to go somewhere else as fans to talk about it.

That is bull shit.  After all the fans are the ones that have been around through thick and thin.  I for one, have been a fan since AFD came out when I was in high school.

I experienced that same situation with ya! I actually watched the bootleg once and totally forgot the show was gonna end after Patience. I fucked myself again by forgetting because Axl threw the mic I was like "OH CHRIST...I forgot! The shows over!".

I'm with you too dude, I think 11/25 is gonna make up for it.
