I don't think GN'R will ever play at Download again.
But no, I think Axl will purposefully avoid any festival Velvet Revolver are scheduled for.

It has to at some point, anyway after 2006 GNR should know better than to go to Download 2007.

GNR should go to Glastonbury instead.

well look at it this way..

summer 2007 will be Velvet Revolvers US tour for new cd, and also GNRS 2nd leg of chinese democracy tour... they have to cross paths somewhere...

My girlfriend has actually wrote a story about what happens when GN'R and VR end up playing the same festival.  She describes it as her "bizarre, unrealistic, temporary reunion scenario".
