When all I've got is precious time

There are not many back to back dates which iss a good thing to save axls voice. I think its really smart they give Axl atleast one day off between almost every show to recoup. This will keep his voice great and he wont blow it out.

Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

Good call dude....I always look at the dates to see if they play back to back for that very reason...and so Axl doesn't get burned out from being onstage every night......if he gets bored, say bye bye to the tour....

that's funny cause the shows I'm going to in Calgary and Edmonton are back to back.  Wonder which one will be better? Wednesday in Calgary or Thursday in Edmonton.

Not having back to back shows also allows them to slip in the occasional extra show as required.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of those empty dates get filled down the line, leading to some back to backs.

There may very well be rollover dates in mind for some of these markets depending on how brisk the sales are, but I'd must prefer that they leave the itinerary as is to ensure Uncle Axl's long-term durabilty.

I don't buy the Axl can't do back to back nights.   On 9/17 at the Joint his pipes sounded much better than  9/16.   But yea its cool have days off for rest.

I agree - if he is taking care of himself, he should be fine. Plenty of singers do it.

not only is it good they're taking breaks just for the band, but with the way the tour is lining up, I can hit T.O. on the Weds, and do a belated radio show on the Thurs....have I mentioned how much I love Merck lately? lol

Wasn't the leaked Cleveland date November 24?

I just heard from a good source that Detroit is November 25 so I guess there won't be a break here. That also means I can't make it to both shows!

I wouldn't be surprise that they add dates on thoses days off depending how sales go.  Like a 2nd MSG.... that would be nice....

Nobody said he couldn't do it, but it makes it easier throughout the entire tour......
