I had a horrific experience today involving a scary black man in a movie theater

In this instance, I think it's clear the fact that the "scary man" was black contributed to RR's feeling scared.? So, in that sense, the racial description was valid.? But it was disingenuous to imply up front that race was not a factor.

Being stalked and manipulated by anybody is scarey. A person's size and mental condition would scare me alot more than their race.

It affected my perception based on the fact that I knew it was a bad area and there had been recent murder(s) by black men about his age, yes. I acknowledged this in my OP. That does not, however, qualify as being "racist" - that's why I posted that disclaimer, because I know how sensitive the subject is, and I wanted to make it clear that just because I was scared of the guy given the circumstances it doesn't mean I'm racist against against anybody.

When I lived in the countryside in England we lived on a farm, down the road a bit was a series of locks, a lot of gypsies/"pikies" (or however you spelled it) would be along there. A lot of them had sex with each other and were all inbred, I remember being scared once cause I was riding my bike and a kid with like three arms and a disfigured head jumped out of the bushes and stood in the middle of the path and wouldn't move, then his father - who was albino - finally got him to move, freaked me out SOO much.

Anyway my mom used to go for runs along the bank and one day she's running along and hears this loud grunting noise from the other side. She looks over and this big fat gypsy is standing next to his boat, COMPLETELY naked, looking at her, grunting and jerking off. She said he was making faces, and the grunting got really loud and he kept staring at her.

My mom cried for like days after it happened, she said it was the grossest thing she had ever seen.

Your poor mother. I feel ill just reading it. Did ypu ever see that movie DIRTY PRETTY THINGS? It was a brilliant art film about the exploitation of illegal immigrants in England with the black market of stealing organs from people like kidneys.

Maybe it would have been better not to include "black man" in the title of the thread itself, but I still think it was vital to the story given the context, and I was just trying to give a full description of everything. I mean I described how the corridors of the theater bend around, does that mean I have a thing against corridors? I guess I could have just said "corridor" and not given any details about it.

Without details it'd be a pretty uninteresting story to tell:
