Maybe should have called this the best broadcasted show of the new GN'R. There's a lot of shows that you won't be able to get a soundboard or great recording from to compare with each other. From the soundboard ones, I would say Donnington just cos they proved they weren't a bunch of quitters and came through the technical problems and getting shit thrown at them to play not far off a 3 hour set.
From the shows i was at (Dublin and Glasgow), Glasgow was the best just cos of the crowd, Axl's banter with the crowd (He's Scottish and all
), the songs coming at the right time, and the solos not disrupting the flow as much. Oh, and Mr Izzy Stradlin!
But all in all new GN'R are certainly one of the best live acts around now, not many bands atm can touch em.
