Hey guys,
My band, B&E, just released our first record.
Check us out:

www.cdbaby.com/bande

Anyone else here use CdBaby to sell an album?
So far, it's been a pretty good deal.
Our music is Post-Punk, Post-Pop, Garage-style rock.

Our myspace page:
www.myspace.com/bandelive

Would be great to hear your feedback,

Hey D,
CDBaby is really easy...
If you have an album you want to sell online, you send them 5 copies and fill out their online registration stuff, which is pretty simple.
Then once they get your CDs they create your URL and send you a check after you hit a certain amount.
They take $4 from each CD, which is about what most consignments do anyway...it's a bit steep for some projects in my opinion though.

They charge $35 upfront fee...but if you get a CD reproduced at the right place, most have a coupon for you to sell on Cdbaby. We used Media Services Omaha to repro. They did 500 copies, jewel cases and wrapped and barcode for $830, which was at least $200 less than anywhere else I looked.

Does your band have a site D?

And yea, lmk what u think,

Im gonna go when I get some money and order your CD off CdBaby...  I like your bands vibe a lot.

Im gonna listen to the songs on MYSpace a few more times and tell u what I think. I dont think its fair to only hear a song once and comment.

I've never heard of that site...it looks like it's trying to compete with Itunes on an indi-level.
Does that site do really well?

Here's a nice site where music distribution sites are compared:
