Here Today... Fuck The Hell

Actually I believe GN'R used to refer to it as a Bo Diddely drum beat.

Exactly.. Bo Diddley's trademark is the drums which you hear on Brownstone. Izzy has actually said in an interview that he learned alot from Bo Diddley, not guitar wise but beat wise.

"Not Fade Away" is originally by Diddley and covered by The Stones. Also on the Stones' "Please Go Home" (which Izzy covered on On Down The Road) there's the same beat used.

I can't believe Led Zep ripped off that Rocket Queen riff from GNR, how could they.? They're lucky they did cuz if they' didn't they'd suck.

And as far as those rejects, I thought of 'I want candy' not brownstone.? But hey its similar like twins.? That video is the most annoying video in the fucking world, in fact if it wasn't for that terrible video of that ugly dude I might actually say the song aint terrible.?

Now that you mention it, I think GnR ripped off the intro of Brownstone .? They ripped it off of that Bow wow Wow song I Want Candy.

I always thought this as well.

I thought it was meant be ironic, in that they wanted heroin, which was their "candy".

Here's "I Want Candy" by Bow Wow Wow -

Which riff from Rocket Queen is reminiscent of Led Zeppelin?  I never picked up on that one.

Or are you guys just joking?  haha

Listen to "Sweet Home Suburbia" by Hanoi Rocks and I think you will hear where GnR got their inspiration for the song

I think that this generation of artist have copied or shall I say somehow incorporated music from the 80's and the 90's into their own music, and movie producers have probably remade every movie possible, it is almost if none of them have a mind of their own!!  Not to come across a bitchy or unappreciative of what is out here right now, but truley it is as if no one out there has any of there own creativity, anyone agree?
