 Yeah, they were giving away anptehr pair of tickets and talked about my angry email from yesterday regeradign they should make listeners singing to Coma...lol....Anyway, the funny thing is the dj thought I was a girl.
I asked them to stop dissing the new band. We'll see what happens.

updated: the dj just emailed me and they want me on air to ask gn'r trivia questions for fans to compete for front row tix. unfortuantely, i am travelling thru tomorrow and tickets go on sale this sat. we'll see if this is still on next week. for those of you going to dial in, i do not plan to ask any questions regarding the old band or the old members. it's all about the new band at this time.

Make it easy, name the bands GnR's guitarists, bassist, and drummer and best know for?

{Robyn - NIN, Richard - Psycho Furs or LSL, I'd say they are about equal, Tommy-Replacements, Brain - Primus}

The Replacements, NIN, Primus, and Psychadelic Furs have many fans that listen to 91X.  I would imagine, people will surprise you.

Well, that's the point - to have hardcore fans win the tickets. I've already complained about how front row tix get given away to random listeners and that's how this whole thing started. On the other hand, this is fine line we are trying to walk - we don't want too hard questions being asked since this would annoy the mainstream listeners and the non so hard fans and the radio station won't like that very much.
Thanks for all the input. I've already send them a bunch of questions to ask in case I can't get a chance to call in when the contest airs every day. The DJ seemed to be very interested.

I've actually suggested to them having two types of tickets to give away: front row (for which the questions should be hard) and
any other row, for which they can ask the easy mainstream questions like what're the chorus words of Sweet Child.
