Just got the new issue of Blender in the mail today. They're doing their yearly rundown of the top 100 things to happen in 2006 so far: Axl is at #29:

When Guns N' Roses 2.0 last attempted to tour in 2002, Axl Rose's tendency to, um, not show up resulted in riots and meltdowns. Four years later, their (SIDENOTE: yes, it does says their, not his - take THAT to all of the haters) Chinese Democracy CD still doesn't have a release date, but the cornrowed, suspiciously waxy-countenaced frontman came out of exile for a run of shows in New York and Europe that were stunningly incident-free onstage and awesomely Axl-like off. Highlights included a nightclub brawl with fashion magnate Tommy Hilfiger and the biting of a security guard. Welcome back, Axl. Man, we missed you."

You're an asshole greendog, what the fuck did the guy ever do too you?  He's obviously has a serious problem with drugs, but to wish him death is pretty fucked up thing to say.  Criticize his music, his band, or even his haircut for all I care, but DON'T say that you wanna see the guy lose his life because of a sickness he has thats beyond his control.

Pete Doherty is a selfish, self-infatuated piece of shit and despite all his problems still tries to glorify drug taking and tries oh so desperately to act cool whilst obviously smacked up. It is not beyond his control, he does it for attention particularly if he has got a tv appearance lined up.

The guy is an arse and wouldn't be missed. BUT I hope he suffers through a long and tortuous life, simply to deny him one last cry for attention and prevent him from becoming a god to young people as idiots like Cobain have done previously, elevated beyond his level by taking his own life.

Zakas80 its not beyond his control he just does it for publicity for his rubbish band, and also if you feel sorry for him, i guess you didnt know that he injected one of his "fans" while they were passed out with a needle Doherty had used himself!!! and you think its ok??? he also injected himself while doing an interview for MTV inwhich he sucked up blood from his body into the needle then sprayed the camera with his blood and you think its fuckin fair? the camera's were ruined & the Cameramen had to get test for Aids and all sorts of diseases, he is just a useless piece of shit portrayed by the media!

Pete Docherty is famous for all the wrong reasons. Instead of Guns n roses which are famous for the songs and then for all the ROCK n ROLL stuff they got up to, Docherty is famous for just a crack head, he should meet up with Scotty weiland.

The music really is pathetic, and part of the reason why Chinese Democracy is going to bring change. Bands will realise that spending just an hour thinking up songs isnt acceptable. and the public wants decent music again. Not some cock in a natzi or old person hat prancing on stage.
