For me the ultimate GNR recorded concert has to be Live at the Ritz in '88. All original members looking shit cool, dangerous, sound fuckin' amazing and interact with the rowdy audience positively and buzz off them. Axl's stage dive adds another bit of madness as the security struggle to release him from the hands of animal audience which is relatively small and intimate in comparison with the stadium gigs that followed. I reckon this is Guns at their best! Essential viewing!

You mean pro-shot, I assume.

In that case I'd have to say Ritz or Chicago 1992.

All we're missing in Chicago 92 is Izzy & Steven. So I'm putting The Ritz at No.1 still, for me anyway

All we're missing in Chicago 92 is Izzy & Steven.
Honestly, Izzy just stood in one spot most of the concert and you could barely see Steven anyway. So, (at least for me), it doesn't bother me that either of those two were gone for it being live, it's still one of the best GnR shows ever, setlist as well as playing amazing, and personally the best pro-shot show available.
(And I like the AFD lineup just as much Wink )

the ritz is pur animal.........pure appetite. this is the best concert recorded visually, the only way this could be topped is if they had the 1987 performance from the ritz available or maybe a couple of shows opening for the cult again in '87. nothing could come close to that but from what we've got to pick from i would say the ritz followed by argentina 1992 or chicago 1992.  peace

Ritz 1988 for sure, but check Rock in Rio 1991 second night (January 23th). Nightrain and You Could be Mine are like best ever performances on that show!

The best picture of any show would be (apart from Toyko's) Argentina 92, Neo's version.
And he recently just discovered the master of the last ever show in Argentina 93 which could possibly be better. It's really the masters that your looking for cuz they're unbeatable.
But even so, you all say Chicago or Ritz, Have any of you seen John M's Oklahoma 92? Almost dvd like! Although Ritz 88 is still my fave. ok
