Kid Rock busted his ass for years before he got signed. The man was selling out 3500 seat theaters without any label or management support.
I have respect for him AND his opinion.

I guess to each his own, but I personally think thats a terrible decision. You robbed yourself of the rest of the show because you think Kid Rock is untalented??

If he was talking about some that are poorly written, surely IRS is on that list.

For those that don't remember or weren't around, Tommy said ages ago that the album is 90% fucking incredible. Axl has said he's trying to do some different things and that there will only be a few appetite style songs on the first album. We can expect one or two Axl-wanking type things that some will worship and others will hate. The fact that Kid Rock didn't like some things encourages me.

anyone can have an opinion on whatever they want. I myself am a big Gn'R fan and I happen to also like kid rock. I have seen him about 5 times and he always puts on a good show. I think he is a talented artist and if i do so big deal. He can write good songs as well and the problem is people think about all of is rap/rock stuff. Give his album kid rock a listen, some songs aren't so good but over all I think it is a great album.

It is highly entertaining to me that Kid Rock said that some songs were poorly written (if he said that at all...I really doubt that he did).... I am very sorry, I like Kid Rock, but he is miles away from being able to judge!
Quote from American Badass:
"I'm an American Bad Ass Watch me kick, you can roll with Rock Or you can suck my dick I'm a porno flick, I'm like Amazing Grace I'm gunna fuck some hoes after I rock this place"
Excuse me...write something like Estranged or Coma before you give an opinion!
I agree. The lyrics from American Badass sound like something a teen would write.

The thing about Kid Rock is yes he was dedicated and it took almost a decade for him to make it but only when the music industry turned more commercial and looking for the quick dollar did Kid Rock finally made it. Kid Rock is more of a pop star than rock or rap. And his fanbase is primarily in middle america where country music is king and mullets are seen as fashionable.

My point earlier was this; I don't care if it was Yanni who said some of the songs were poorly written. It's an opinion and everyone is entitled to it. My personal dislike for Kid Rock shouldn't cause me or anyone else to say bad things just because he suggested Axl has written some songs that might have sounded less then perfect to him.
