You mean the other reply warning? In red at the top of the page when you want to post? When the board is really busy it is quite annoying, cause you have to keep on pushing that button to get your post posted. On the other hand, it is also very annoying if the same reply is posted ten times in a row. I like to be reminded that I have to check back to make sure no one beat me to it, it keeps the board more readable. It happens quite a lot that I want to post something and just as I was to enter my post I see that someone else has just written basically the same thing. I can then correct my initial post of  delete it altogether.

I agree it's annoying, but I think it is a necessary evil.

not everybody will use that delete button just because someone said the same thing. there'll be many people who'll say "fuck it" and i don't think the mods have time to delete all double posts and stuff.
