From the airport to Christiania it's only about 8 miles.
Plenty of cabs at the airport and you WON'T get cheated/hassled. Strict laws on cabbies in Denmark.
Christiania is on the part of town called Christianshavn ("Christian's Harbor"), which is between the parts called Amager (where the airport is) and innercity Copenhagen.
When at Christiania visit M?nefiskeren ("The Moonfisher") for some good java and some pool/backgammon.
HOWEVER.. the police are cracking down on Christiania and it's "pusher street" was taken out a year ago. There's a strong police presence there, but it shouldn't be too much trouble. Police are tired of it too, knowing they can't remove weed from Christiania completely.? The place is still peaceful and safe, no worries.
Go to Loppen ("The Flea") - and eat at Spiseloppen ("The Eating Flea"). Great prices and surprisingly GREAT food and wine, always a bargain.
