Another Animal (Ugly Kid Joe singer with Godsmack musicians)

anyone heard of this sideproject? the self titled album "Another Animal" is coming out in september, its a Godsmack side project started by ex-Ugly Kid Joe drummer and current Godsmack / Amen drummer Shannon Larkin, and he got Ugly Kid Joe's singer Whit Crane to sing and it also has Godsmack bassist and guitarist, he said it sounds like a mix of Sabbath and Faith No More - Angel Dust era, should be cool, its already recorded and the artwork is being done by the guy who did darkside of the moon.

UKJ ruled, i even liked the shortlived band Medication.

UKJ were more than one hit wonders, and Whitfield Crane was a top vocalist, he's done 2 cracking covers for Metallica tribute albums, the tracks Welcome Home (Sanitarium) & Master of Puppets were really well done.

Haven't heard any Godsmack to my knowledge.

Still i'll be sure to check this new project out...

its becuse ukj werent taken seriously after Americas Least Wanted, i think they grew as a band since that album and made some awesome music.

both written by guitarist Dave Fortman who produced Evanescence two time Grammy award winning album Fallen, both Superjoint albums featuring ex-Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo, the lastest Mudvayne album, he also worked with Lost And Found, Suplecs, Crowbar, Charlotte Church, Soilent Green, The Cadillac Tramps, Mystick Krewe of Clearlight, Boy Sets Fire, 12 Stones, Eyehategod, Another Animal and more.
