For what its worth, Izzy has now played more shows with the new line-up than the original in the last 14 years

Hard to imagine anything can replace the feeling off opening night, with AXL hitting the stage with some much energy. The anticipation in the crowd was unreal on the 12th. However, I wish I was also there last night to see Izzy. That would have been incredible

Everyone put it perfectly. The past is the past and there's no need for it as far as I'm concerned. This is the new Guns N Roses, the Guns N Roses of the future. As everyone said, it looks like people are starting to accept how the band is now, and really all we need at this point, past more live performances, is the release of "Chinese Democracy" (or whatever ends up being the first album), to show the world that this is GNR now whether you like it or not. If you don't like it, too bad. Go watch old live performances or bootlegs or videos or whatever. I hope the old members never come back. They have worked very hard to get to the level where they are and rebuild the name and reputation of Guns N Roses and not only Axl deserves complete credit, respect and appreciation for what he has achieved, but for all the musicians in the band who have helped regrow and rebuild the band with their amazing musicianship.
To be honest, I was always a fan of Guns N Roses, but ever since the new lineup came into place and the new songs were presented, my appreciation and respect for GNR has grown more than ever before. Not to say I don't appreciate the classics, but I love the new direction.
Thanks for keeping the dream alive Axl.
