^well thats more or less becuase people shouldn't be out in NYC past mid-night, it's just not a smart thing to do
Please tell me that there is some sarcasm here?!? More importantly, didn't the MSG show end around midnight...? I can remember walking out of the show, but not the actual time.
I skipped right over that, I hope they're joking too. We get that all the time here in Detroit too. I don't know which city is overall "less safe" but I do know that *EVERYTHING* is closed in Detroit by about 2:30-3am and from what I've heard alot of things are 24-7 in NYC. I've gotta assume that more people are out in the early morning hours there then here.

Obviously that was written by a non-NYer. People don't even start going out till like 9 or 10 generally.

It was "Around 9:00PM" on the UYI tour.....
/jarmo
and around 10:45 PM on the 2002 tour
as long as you aren't taking public transportation that stops after midnite, you should be fine.

Word...The city doesn't even start hopping until 11 or so which is when most of the clubs open. Ah, it's good to be a New Yorker. I will never leave this state o' mine (and by state I mean NYC and Long Island, upstate New York doesn't count....damn boondocks)
