The only instrumental version of Estranged, that I know of, is the one played by a fan with piano.

I have three demo versions - all real - one a piano version, one full demo, and the demo (more like karaoke version) from the Sessions Bootleg

Really, I have that, are you sure its not Axl. Is that one with just piano, no vocals and there is an intro before the standard starting point

extracted the estranged of your cd open it into an audio editor invert the phase of one channel convert it to a mono file
use some eq plugin to boost around 120KHZ ...u got an instrumental version not perfect but.. .  beer
