I just found this while looking for articles on guns:

After a few years in the fast lane, many rock stars either burn out or fade away. Fame takes its toll, but Stephen Harris was one of the survivors. As a former bass player and guitarist, he performed in big-name bands, including Guns N' Roses, The Four Horsemen and The Cult, who he describes as "a wonderful bunch of chaps. Fine friends of mine."

you can read the rest here: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/03/28/earlyshow/mynewlife/main1444634.shtml

So the question is when was he in guns?

He filled in on bass guitar for Duff in 1988 after Duff broke his hand.

My mistake - it was actually for one show in 1988 while Duff was off getting married.

Kid 'Haggis' Chaos fills in for Duff, as he was in Los Angeles getting married.

Mark mentioned to me that Stephen ?Kid Chaos/Haggis? Harris was going to be in town for a one-off Love Reaction gig, and I asked him if he would pass on my contact info to ol? Haggis, because I was interested in talking to him about his amazing rock n? roll ride as the bass player in the Love Reaction and the Cult, and of course, as the dude-who-formed-the Four Horsemen.

And to make things more confusing - the bass player for Iron Maiden is a different guy named "Steve Harris".

That's probably why Stephen Harris took on the "Kid Chaos" moniker.

OMG-That's HAGGIS? Well, good for him. Wised up, sobered up, and had the proverbial 'moment of clarity'. Goodness knows, most everyone from the scenes he ran in are pretty much either dead or should be.

But, man, the Four Horsemen-F**KING RAWWWWKED.
