http://www.buddyhead.com/gossip/ a fairly recent Stinson interview. Tommy comes on at 15:40 and he talks GNR at around 26:40. (scroll down a tad)

This was new to me, so I'll comment.  Tommy said about the tour 4 years ago that it was good and fun except for the "Buckethead" aspect, but he's not in the band anymore so that's good.

Cool. I still love Village Gorilla Head. One of those albums that has superior staying power. Amazing job for his first CD under his name, and Axl should feel extremely luck to have him in the band. Wink

Yeah, in this interview he called Buckethead "a nightmare".
