This mention is really really beyond minor but it IS an Axl mention on tv ...

There's a show here in the US on Comedy Central called The Showbiz Show with David Spade.? On the season opener show last night, Spade was doing this lame bit making fun of another show called Black.White. that takes a black person and a white person and puts make-up on them so they look like the other's race and they have to go live with the other race's family (or something like that ... I don't watch black.white. ... I've only seen the commercials for it).

anyways ...

So David Spade is getting help from the black guy from Scrubs - Donald Faison who plays Dr. Chris Turk (I don't watch Scrubs either) ... So this Faison guy asks Spade "what kind of black guy do you wanna be?" ... Spade says something like "what did you mean by 'kind'?" ... So Faison says something like "just like there's different levels of white guys ... like Col. Sanders (the KFC character) is one kind and Axl Rose would be the other kind"? ... then they showed side-by-side pics of Col. Sanders and Axl? ... then the bit went on with Spade making believe he was black.

That's it.? Tongue

This is another SMALL GNR mention on tv but this one was kinda funny.

This one was on one of those "reality" shows called The Surreal Life where they make a bunch of has-been celebrities live together in a house.? So the houseguests are Florence Henderson, Sherman Helmsley, Steve Harwell, Andrea Lowell, Tawny Kitaen, Alexis Arquette and C.C. DeVille (guitarist of Poison).

So the last houseguest to be added to the show was gonna be picked from a group of guys who were thrown off other reality shows.? So the has-beens were "interviewing" these guys and they asked one of them who their favorite band from the 80s was.? The guy answered GUNS N' ROSES!!! and C.C. Deville gave him a dirty look like Angry? ... and the guy was eliminated.?

Smiley  GypsySoul, do you remember which reality show cast-off it was?  I watch a couple shows, and I'm curious to know which one was a Gunner!  Thanks.   beer

Axl was also mentioned on the UK version of Deal or no Deal. One of the contestants had an old photo of herself alongside Axl for good luck. (I think anywayz, anyone else see it?)
