Not a bad review of the demos, but not a good writer, seems like hes trying too hard to show the reader he knows a lot of big words.

Yeah, way too many big words. And, I'm not sure that the solo in TWAT is the best solo ever but a very great, optimistic article.

Big words like what?

"sentiment"
"emanate"
"cognizant"

       ?

Yea those are real big words.

You're missing my point completely, or do you like to be sarcastic for the hell of it? Use them all in the same sentence and you'll know what I mean. Not words you hear everyday in a conversation. My point being the writer is trying too hard to sound intelligent.

Well, my opinion is very similar to his. At least, Buckethead's TWAT guitar solo is the best solo I've heard in, probably, years. I can't find better guitar solos out there, at least in the last 8 or 10 years (1996-2006)

Quote
Better, one such unmapped locale and a self-evident title that lives up to its name via an air of funk and rock, could only emanate from the mind of a man who knows no rules and follows no clich?

Exactly

I agree, it's a good article, but seriously... who the fuck is it written for?  The average person is gonna get turned off the by all the "big words" early on...not to say they're actually big words, but fuckin' aye...relax a little on the terminology.  Three sentences of that was enough.

remember Axl's explanation of Oh MY God when it came out and everyone was saying it reeked of someone isolated from society, suffering from mental something or another....this reminds me exactly of that.
