Dont forget Josh Freese and Billy H left to join APC around 98/99

Billy H was a sound engineer or whatever... not a regular member. about Josh, I'm not sure if he was regular member or just session musician

oh, I nearly forgot about Chris Vrenna who was a member for a short time after Matt Sorum left and before Josh Freese joined... as far as I remember

Billy was the Chris Pittman of the band when he was in it.

Billy wrote stuff for gnr but axl did not use it, so he took it to APC. That is why Axl is thanked in the liner notes of APCs first album.

I even have an interview somewhere with Billy and Maynard and Maynard explicitly says that it is Billy's project not his, but people seem to ignore those kinds of things.

For some reason, in the eyes of the general populace, a band always is constructed and ran by the singer. but that's not necessarily true no

Billy wrote stuff for gnr but axl did not use it, so he took it to APC. That is why Axl is thanked in the liner notes of APCs first album.

really?! I did not know that. that's cool ok

I just assumed it was because they were allowed to use Axl's studio to record it (I think that's true, I'm not 100% though), or they learned a shitload about writing/recording from Axl or that they were able to fund the project cuz of what Axl's paid them or something hihi

it's amazing what kind of stuff was written and then used because Axl didn't want it... first Snakepit album, first APC album, first Black Label Society album...
