i dont know whether it will happen or not, but i just thought id pass on the message i got last night. i was talking to a friend of mine last night. havent talked to him in a while. but he is very good when it comes to info about shows and stuff. he has a very good source...... but he said to me last night that guns n roses are supposed to be playing v festival this year. i cant remember whether he said they are currently discussions ongoing between the gnr management and v promoters and organisers, or that discussions had been finalised.

so believe me or believe me not! you decide!

as i said, just passing on the conversation!

Since the Internet is available outside of your little town too, what and where is the V Festival?

A chav is like a ghetto wanna be here in the states....white trash more or less if I'm not mistaken.

Are "chavs" equivalent to "Scallies"Huh?  Just testing out my Euro slang Smiley

According to somewhere I read it (Can't think where), Donnington and Dublin are the only UK venues to be played in 2006 by GNR.

"according to"/"i heard somewhere from so and so"

they'll either be long gone from europe by that stage or rounding off with individual shows. and V is far too james blunt for a rock n roll band, save for maybe the likes of primal scream.

Chavs are basically vandals/thugs that wear burberry caps.

Here is a mock of a chav that is very popular in UK.

Anyways I thought bands like the Chilis and the Foos play at V don't they?
